FAITH Riverside
The FAITH RIVERSIDE PROJECT was officially launched
 


MTF thanks the students from Mount Royal University Management 4431
for funding FAITH RIVERSIDE

 

FAITH RIVERSIDE is located in 4 villages; D’Riconalla, New Lituban, JP Brillantes and Bulacan, in Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte. These commmunities are located next to a river and have ideal soil and water conditions.

• Participants will establish garden plots as a source nutritious food and additional income.
• Communal nurseries will be established as a source of seedlings and demonstration garden.
• The MTF technical team will provide monitoring and feedback.

 

OUR PROGRESS

COMMUNITY CONSULTATIONS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED

Technical lectures were given by the MTF agricultural team emphasizing:

• SALT “Sustainable Agricultural Land Technology”, a method of farming designed to protect, preserve and enhance the productive capacity of land
• Choosing the correct planting materials, getting the most value for the least cost
• Environment-friendly pest and disease control designed to increase yield and ensure profitability

RIVERSIDE COMMUNITES START THEIR PROGRAMS

Bulacan and D’Riconalla, have established individual plots, planted seeds, and established a nursery for the two villages.
